About Vishakha Singh
Vishakha Singh is a multi faceted Indian actor turned film producer and start-up entrepreneur. Vishakha started her journey into films in 2007. After spending a few years as a pan indian actor (fukrey/ khelein hum jee jaan sey/ bajatey raho/ankur arora murder case, Kanna laddoo thinna aasaiya/Fukrey returns, Rowdy fellow) as well as appearing in over 180 tv and print commercials, Vishakha went on to produce/coproduce significant award-winning independent films like ‘peddlers’ (festival de cannes, 2012), ‘Haraamkhor’ (nyiif, new york 2014), ‘Onaatah’ (national award, india 2016), ‘Atkan Chatkan’ presented by Academy award winner, Mr.A R Rehman (sliff, london 2020).
Breaking stereotypes in the world of Web 3, Vishakha Singh cobuilt India’s 1st NFT Marketplace and was VP of wazirx nft marketplace - under wazirx - the crypto exchange; where she was instrumental in building a strong community of 80K+. Under her leadership, the marketplace launched successful NFT projects in Art, Music, Events, Sports, Literature , Travel , Fashion segments including those of Ritviz & Nucleya, Sunil Gavaskar, Sunburn Music Festival, Lakmé Fashion Week, Designer Manish Malhotra, Media host Faridoon Shahryar, Influencer Priya Malik, cartoonist Satish Acharya, artist Santanu Hazarika among others .
Apart from wazirx nft marketplace, Vishakha Singh has brought her expertise, understanding of content and creativity to celebrity fan engagement tools like iconicbot (in bangalore) and 4five app (in toronto) as a co-founder. Vishakha was able to leverage her network and understanding of the influencer market by enabling persona based chatbots via iconicbot for Mr. Kamal Hassan’s ‘Vishawaroopam’, Ms Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘U-Turn’, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ and her own film ‘Fukrey Returns’ among many others. Her latest role as the Blockchain Advisor for the NFDC, saw her lead the IFFI Goa 2023 Festival's Digital Collectibles Project.
She was among the Top 10 winners of the ‘women entrepreneur quest’ challenge 2017 hosted by dept. of science & tech, govt of india and anitab.org , usa.
She grew up in the middle east and has travelled extensively across the world. She considers herself a digital nomad and a global citizen. However, Mumbai & Rome have her heart.
She is currently on the advisory of multiple startups and social impact organisations.
